Just want to say we love your food. Tonight I ordered the Santa Fe salad. I always get no onions because I’m allergic to them. When I opened my container I had quite a bit of cooked onions. Just please be careful when preparing someone’s meal. When someone puts no for an item it’s for a reason. Thank you.

I had Patrick's Corned Beef Reuben. They use provolone cheese instead of Swiss cheese. Sure it's melty but the flavor isn't there. The sandwich could have used more dressing on it. I had cottage cheese which was acceptable and a pickle spear.
Service was slow. It wasn't until I finished my glass of Guinness, which was warm, that our food came out. It's a known trick that the sports bars won't bring out your food until you've finished your first drink. It's to get you to buy more drinks, simple as that.
Went here for brunch a few years ago and wasn't all that impressed. I'm still not impressed. They have some of everything which is probably to distract people from the mediocrity of all other aspects of dining here.
They don't even have Heinz ketchup. Epic fail.

Family friendly restaurant and bar. Great place to enjoy the food. Has an atmosphere of a family restaurant mixed with a sports bar. Dim lighting made it difficult to read the menus ( probably for the bar) but the candles gave a nice ambience. A little noisy for friendly conversations but not too much to still be able to communicate with your company. Had the octoberfest version of bratwurst platter, everything about it was delicious! I normally don't eat sauerkraut but that was the first thing eaten off my plate! The whole platter was tasty and filling - Kudos to the chef! Also ate the delicious garlic bread twists, covered in an oil or butter yet still was soft and chewy on the inside, the marinara dip was tasty too, highly recommend the breat twists. The waitress also did a great job at keeping the drinks topped up. Others enjoyed battered chicken and fries as well as brisket Mac and cheese.
Update Jan 2024. Went back for another round, this time found out lighting in booths are much easier to read menus. Also tried the baked french onion soup and the BB meatball salad. Can't get enough of those meatballs with the sauce! Great combo! Definitely recommend it. My companions also had the chicken soup and spaghetti and meatballs, good size portions.

Every time I've gone to Beer Barrel (whether this specific location or a different one) the food has been tasty and fairly-priced.
When I went today, the waitress (I feel bad that I forget her name since she deserves a shout-out!) was extremely attentive to our group and she made sure our waters were topped-off before we could even ask. However, waiters/waitresses from past visits were not as attentive. To be fair, today's waitress set a high standard ^_^
For today's visit I ordered a Reuben sandwich. It was quite tasty, but I do wish there would have been more sauerkraut. Other people in our group also noticed their orders were light on the sauerkraut, so if you're big sauerkraut fans (like us) then you may want to ask for extra. All-in-all I think everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. No one's order was wrong or cold or anything like that, and everyone's food came out at one time. In past visits the food has always been acceptable and enjoyable, but rarely does it exceed my expectations.
The restaurant atmosphere is exactly as you'd expect based off the name. There are plenty of wooden decorations (including big beer barrels) as well as a few metallic accents to the atmosphere to draw out that "pub" feel. However, unlike some pub-style restaraunts, Beer Barrel has never been rowdy or anywhere that I'd feel uncomfortable taking kids. It is definitely a dining experience that welcomes the whole family!
All-in-all, Beer Barrel is an enjoyable establishment with a diverse menu (and drink menu) to choose from. I'd recommend giving it a try sometime if you haven't!

Stopped in and place was about 3/4 full. Waitress did great job getting drinks and order taken. Kept drinks filled as needed during the 45 minute wait for food. Food came out warm but was really blah taste wise. Long wait for blah food but I've had worse. Was just nothing special except the waitress was working her butt off.
