The wontons or dumplings have nothing inside. They are just made of flour. The boss said they focus on doing business with Americans. They (Americans)don't like to eat wontons or dumplings with meat inside. What a ridiculous excuse and racist. They Just want to lower the cost. This kind of business can't last long. Won't go again.

We went there for Xiao long bao, however they did not carry any. We got dumplings instead which were okay. Wrappers were very thick . And the only lobster dish they had which was okay ish. 2 stars because cutlery were very very old plus the sake serving set was dirty - had black stains inside.

Tried dim sum at New Empire. Good selection, friendly staff. Taste is close to other dim sum places, no cart just ask for dim sum and they provided a separate meu order form. Would recommend!

Large delicious portions. We had their House special fried rice & House special lo mein. Only think I wish is that you could order small side portions of the different fried rice.

I was really excited to read that New Empire had a dim sum menu. This will, unfortunately, be the last time I ever utter that phrase. We popped in for lunch, and to try the aforementioned dim sum, which I was seriously excited about. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, and quick, and sat us immediately. I asked for the dim sum menu (a separate paper menu), and she brought it right over. We selected: Shrimp Har Kau (okay) Pork Siu My (absolutely not) Shrimp Rolls (okay) Chicken Noodle Roll (never) And also got the sautéed broccoli and the Mongolian chicken lunch special for good measure. The broccoli and Mongolian chicken were actually FANTASTIC. 10/10 would order again. The sauces were amazing. The dim sum was just not great. The texture was unsettling and it didn't taste fresh at all. If I hadn't gotten dim sum, this would be 4 stars, because the lunch special was truly delicious and our server was just awesome. Unfortunately.... This is gonna haunt me a minute.
